EarthenWear Jewellery was founded in 2006 by Laura Powers, at just 17 with £100 birthday money. From there we have steadily grown, sourcing new suppliers, learning new techniques  and creating new designs. Concentrating on preserving real flowers at their peak and showing off their natural beauty in handmade jewellery and accessories.

Shortly after, her mother Alison Powers, joined the team. Assisting at events and taking on a sales role. It was at this time she was also bitten by the creative bug. From finishing off the odd piece for Laura during a busy moment, she soon started making designs of her own. She discovered a love for genuine gemstones and started incorporating them into the pieces.

In 2009 Laura gave birth to her son and decided to take a step back to concentrate on her family and other new commitments and Alison took over the company fully. 

As Laura's family grew and grew up she came back to the business, helping out at events and working on her skills. Taking courses in silversmithing she hopes to expand the designs we can offer. In 2023 she took a more defined role, taking over the website and running the social media channels.
